We recognize that each person’s experience and circumstances will be to some degree unique. Being cognizant of the person’s needs will shape the particulars of the process. With this in mind, here is a general outline of the restoration process.
The process, as expressed in point one of the vision, will include assessment of the circumstances that will look at causes, responsibilities, the level of damage and pain and how this has effected the candidate and their family. When necessary, counseling will be arranged with a counselor who has experience in christian ministry. A mentoring relationship will be encouraged with a mentor who is experienced in ministry and can offer direction and accountability. When it is appropriate the opportunity to engage in leadership and ministry will be explored. Ministry and leadership opportunity will be explored in the context of a restorative church community.
